Dr. Ann Fischer
Dr. Fischer founded House Paws in 2005. She is a member of several veterinary associations, including the Veterinary Hospitals Association and Peaceful Passing for Pets. She enjoys attending Continuing Education seminars to continuously expand her knowledge of advances in veterinary medicine.
When she’s not working, Dr. Fischer spends time with her husband, Brad, their three children, and River Sally, the family’s Shih Tzu. Her hobbies include gardening and enjoying the outdoors.
Dr. Julie Amann
Dr. Julie’s hobbies include knitting and frequenting microbreweries in the Twin Cities area. She has a brown tabby named Luke who loves to snuggle!

Outside of work, Michon enjoys being with friends, going to movies and kickboxing. She also spends lots of quality time with her Boxer, Carman!
Jen joined the House Paws family in 2010 and has been in the veterinary field as a technician since 1993. She goes out on tech appointments with Sue a few times per week.
Married with two children, Jen has a Chihuahua named Padme and a Miniature Pinscher named Khloe. She enjoys paper crafting and spending time with her family up north in Siren, Wisconsin.
Amanda and her husband, Scott, lived in Colorado and Michigan before moving to Stillwater, Minnesota in August 2018. They have a daughter named Isabelle and a rambunctious puppy named Bodie. In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading, binge-watching Jeopardy, and spending time in the outdoors with her family.
Julia and her boyfriend live in River Falls, WI. They have a golden retriever named Bleu and a Persian named Stanley. Julie loves spending time at her cabin and exploring the outdoors with Bleu. She also enjoys hiking and kayaking in her spare time.
When Kit is not assisting House Paws clients, she spends her free time running and caring for her 3-year old daughter, Valentina. She has a curious Blue Point Siamese named Reno and an energetic Cairn Terrier named Ruby.
When she’s not working, Sue likes to spend time with her husband, Mike, and their four Chihuahuas on their property up north. In addition to fishing in all seasons, Sue enjoys knitting, gardening and watching football.
Maddie and her fiancé, Ryan, live in White Bear Lake. They are currently pet-less and on the waitlist for a Doberman rescue puppy. She and Ryan spend as much time as they possibly can up North and frequently vacation in Duluth and Ely.
