Ultrasound Services

House Paws partners with Minnesota Veterinary Ultrasound, a mobile veterinary ultrasound practice, so that we can perform more advanced diagnostics in the home. Dr. Melissa Weisman provides on-site diagnostic ultrasound services including abdominal exams, echocardiograms, thoracic, thyroid/parathyroid, musculoskeletal exams, and ultrasound-guided biopsies.

Dr. Weisman is a long time native of Minnesota, having earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota. She has worked for 25 years as a small animal practitioner in the Twin Cities with over 10 years of performing thousands of diagnostic ultrasounds.

Our veterinarians and technicians are always present at in-home ultrasound appointments so that we can assist Dr. Weisman, explain the procedure and its results to the client, and make sure everything goes smoothly for the patient.
