Oops I’d better introduce myself. My name is Reno, and I’m the House Paws Pet of the Week. As a fabulous feline myself, I’d like to make sure that all of the cats out there are recognized for their amazing-ness. 😺
Let me tell you a little bit about my awesome self. I’m an 8-year-old blue point siamese. My mom adopted me from Last Hope rescue when I was just a wee little guy. I had a super cool big brother named Santiago. He was five years older than me. We were attached at the tail, and I followed him everywhere. I loved snuggling up with him for nap time. Santiago taught me how to be a good cat, and even though I was kind of annoying sometimes, he always was very patient with me. My mom tries to be patient too, but she loses it when I knock over her drinks and makeup products. Her reaction is always so funny 😹
Santiago passed away suddenly a few years ago, and I was so sad. I had never lived without my big brother and cuddle buddy. I didn’t understand what happened at first but my mom and human sister were there for me. Now my sister and I cuddle up together every night, which I love. She’s a good napping partner, and she doesn’t toss around as much as mom does.
I have an unending love for catnip and laser toys (I’m really hoping my mom reads this and gets me a present for Cat Lover’s Month)! Seriously, there’s nothing more fun than chasing one of those darn laser beams around the house. I also really enjoy food… not just cat food either. I’ve found that dog food tastes pretty darn good too! When mom isn’t looking, I’ll sneak a few bites out of my dog sister’s bowl — I think you met her already… her name is Ruby. She’s pretty cool. And her food is tasty!
I’ve shared a few pictures of me below. Check out the one with my stylish nail caps. My mom makes me wear them because I love to scratch the couch. Don’t they make me look handsome? I think they bring out my eyes.😋
